Thanks to the integration of different equipment and devices into Plexus, a centralized test management could be achieved along with a better monitoring process.

Beyond the institution's software, we improved the interdisciplinary collaboration in terms of patient care, since physicians, nurses, and laboratory technicians can have real-time access to the same data, and they can make decisions in a coordinated manner.

We based our success on an effective solution to improve clinical data management and to optimize laboratory processes. This allows the integration of patient data, as well as the collection requests and agenda, with the information of the laboratory test results, trying, thus, to automate most of the processes.

Remote access to the laboratory test results and the automation of laboratory tasks reduce the time needed to carry out these activities, minimize the risk of human error and, thus, improve the accuracy of the results and patient care.

Plexus allows to manage laboratories where blood collection is highly distributed.

Plexus allows to manage laboratories where blood collection is highly distributed, like in the case of RAP, improving, thus, the efficiency in data management, while granting access to the laboratory test results and optimizing the collaboration among different branches.

By using a collection app and a Bluetooth label maker, it is possible to collect blood at a patient's home and to issue a label on the spot. This is a valuable tool to improve the efficiency in the management of laboratory processes, patient's satisfaction, and the quality of medical care.

Plexus can function both locally and in the cloud. In the case of CIAM, we implemented it in Amazon Web Services.

Plexus can function both locally and in the cloud. In the case of CIAM, we implemented it in Amazon Web Services. The users can have access from any location with an internet connection, which allows for remote working, and it is possible to search for laboratory information at any time.

The cloud implementation eliminated the need for expensive infrastructures and hardware at the laboratory, which reduces the costs and the complexity of the system.

This type of implementation can be scalable and can grow together with the volume of a laboratory over time.
